Dr. Stephen G. Payne
Martyn
Lee
2010 April 27th - 29th
Does a leader’s spirituality have anything
to do with achieving success in his or her leadership role? Can time
spent in the monastic setting deliver leadership insights that are transferable
to the workplace? This mid week event is for people who are involved
in organizations in business, the public sector, and elsewhere, and
who will enjoy examining how their spirituality impacts their leadership
role. By using specially developed materials, set within the context
of the daily monastic rhythm, participants will discover and share fresh
insights into how to increase their effectiveness as leaders.
Dr. Payne practices
leadership strategy and executive coaching in Princeton, N.J. A former
CEO himself, he challenges leaders to stay more accountable to God throughout
their entire career. He is the author of First
Rule of Leadership: Achieve Far More by Leading Your Self BEFORE You
Lead Others.
Per person, single room £270
Summer and Autumn Stillness: Reflective Retreats.

2010 September 27th – 30th
From late afternoon of the first day (Monday) until after lunch on the
last (Thursday).
Jesus said to them, “Come away with me. Let us go alone to
a quiet place and rest for a while.” (Mark 6:31).
Take time away with Jesus in the stillness of Worth Abbey Church, the
Quiet Garden and retreat house at the best (we hope!) part of the summer
and autumn months. The retreats will be structured around the monastic
liturgy with the majority of the time for silent personal reflection,
reading and prayer. These are not suitable for those coming on retreat
for the first time.
Per person, single room £213 (£150); shared room £198 (£141)
