A holy holiday week especially for families with at least one child aged between 12 and 16. Some reflections on “a family that prays together stays together” and on ‘leisure’ in today’s digital world. Share experiences and solutions with other families living through adolescence, with an opportunity to relax, share and be supported in a Christian environment. Outings and activities for whole families as well as some separate events for different age groups.

An opportunity for families with young children (12 and under) to have a holiday in the country with other families in this safe and holy Christian space. Shared children’s activities and outings. Some adult discussion sessions with a monk and other parents.

Bermondsey Huts
A camping site in the South Eastern corner of Worth Abbey Estate (see HERE).
Since the 1930’s the monks have made the ‘Bermondsey Huts’ available to groups of people, particularly children, who would benefit from a cheap holiday in the countryside. £3.50 per person per night.

Our accommodation
is particularly suited to retreats for families. Weekdays are more available than weekends. Contact the Bookings Secretary by May 2008 to be sure of our availablility throughout 2009.
