September 2008 - July 2009 (leaflet
for 2008-9)
Course Content: Two topics per term:
- Praying
- Listening
- Spiritual conversation
- Discernment
- Human being-spiritual being
- Images of God and self
The Course is for those:
- exploring themselves and their relationship with God and others;
- in Ministry of any kind;
- interested in deepening their spiritual life;
- who can commit themselves to full attendance (Previous participants don’t want it to end!).
This is not a ‘how-to’ Course. The topics are explored
in small groups - with facilitated input - but mostly from the spirit,
wisdom and experience of the members of the group using a ‘creative
listening’ method.
Every session starts with an experience of prayer.
Participants summarise their exploration of each topic in a short essay.
