Sunday September 4th, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Worth Abbey Parish Open Day.
An opportunity to have a guided tour round the newly refurbished abbey church and also to see some of the behind-the-scenes areas at Worth, including the Quiet Garden. There school choir will be performing, as will the Abbey's resident organist, D'Arcy Trinkwon. There will be refreshments and activities for children and a Question and Answer Session where guests can ask a members of the monastic community and lay people from the parish any questions they would like to about Worth and Catholicism
The Open Day ends with monastic Vespers at 6 p.m. Leading up to Vespers there will be a guided meditation in the Lady Chapel.

Re-opening Worth Abbey Church on Pentecost Sunday, 12 June 2011

The Abbot and Community are celebrating the re-opening of the Abbey Church with Solemn Vespers on Pentecost Sunday, 12 June.  The Community have invited in the first place benefactors and as many as possible of those connected with the design, construction and implementation of the completion of the Abbey Church. Entrance is by invitation only. The limited number of places left are available for a representative number from other Worth Communities.
